Actually a blend of Alaska’s two wild Hericium species, this double extract is made from H. coralloides and H. abietis.
These mushrooms have been shown to have beneficial effects to the brain and nervous system. Specific compounds called corallocins have shown the ability to induce nerve growth factor in human brain cells.
Because of this promising research, Hericum is growing in popularity. We have plans to test our local Alaskan strains for potency, since it is generally understood that “wild” mushrooms are far superior to “lab” mushrooms in terms of nutritional potency.
